of Macungie

Nathan E. Heilman, 82, of Macungie, died peacefully in his home November 3, 2012, with his wife of 61 years, Joyce (Kromer) Heilman, by his side. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Nathan and Edna (Steigerwalt) Heilman.

He was a member of Locust Valley Chapel, Coopersburg, where he formerly served as a deacon and trustee.

He was an avid outdoorsman and love to work with his hands.

He is survived by his wife; children, Dennis and his wife Christine, of Center Valley and Susan and her husband Greg Wollenhaupt of Macungie; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Frank and granddaughter, Laura Wollenhaupt.
