Santa Claus will make calls, write letters

Bring a smile to a face of a child, when they receive a call and/or letter from Santa Claus. For a donation, you will brighten the life of a child, while supporting a great cause. For over 15 years the American Cancer Society has been hosting this event in our Lehigh Valley office. They have volunteers come to their office to place calls and prepare letters for mailing.

If you would like to be a volunteer Santa, or would like to volunteer during Santa Calls week Dec. 3 to 6, call Rosemary at 610-921-2329, ext. 3109 or email rosemarie.murphy@cancerorg.

If you know a child who would like a call from Santa, contact ACS and a form will be forwarded. They do make calls out of the area, in other states. This is a great fundraiser for parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles or family and friends.

The funds raised from this program helps to support the local programs in the Lehigh Valley such as Road to Recovery, Look Good...Feel Better, Reach to Recovery and Hope Lodge. Additionally they have their website and their toll free number, 800-227-2345 which is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
