Lucille R. Held, 90, of Allentown, died Aug. 3, 2013, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Norman L. Held Jr. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Romig) Reinhard.

She worked as a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone for 31 years, retiring in 1985.

She was an active member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher, member of the Care Team and an office helper for many years.

She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and volunteered for the former ABVI.

She is survived by a son, Mark N. and his wife Linda, of Allentown; daughter, Norma L. and her husband Gary Visnar, of Schnecksville; grandsons, Andrew, Adam, Philip, Nicholas and Brendan; great-grandson, Benjamin. She was predeceased by a sister, Christine R. Wickel.

Contributions may be made to the Beautification Preservation Fund of the church.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 Thursday at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, 18103. Viewing 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
