Scott W. Brayford, 40, of Emmaus, a former Barnesville resident, died unexpectedly Oct. 28, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Lisa (Semko) Brayford. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of William G. and Judith A. (Rismiller) Brayford of Barnesville.
He graduated from Mahanoy Area High School, Class of 1991, Lockhaven University, Misericordia University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and was employed as a physician's assistant at OAA Orthopedic Specialists, Allentown.
His many interests included study of brain concussions in many of the local school districts as well as gardening and landscaping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife; parents; daughters, Emma and Molly; son, Lincoln; brothers, Dr. Mark and his wife Maria, of Danville, and Atty. Drew and his wife Alison, of Rosemont.
