Kindergarten registration Feb. 24

It is kindergarten registration time! Western Salisbury Elementary School will hold registration for incoming kindergarteners 9:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 24. Students must be five years old by Aug. 31. More information can be found on the school website and any questions can be answered by calling the school office at 610-797-1688.

Spring athletic physicals will be held in the health room of Salisbury Middle School Feb. 25. Boys will be 5 p.m. and girls 5:45 p.m. Paperwork is now available at both the high school and middle school.

Salisbury High School Theatre presents “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” 7 p.m. March 3 through 5 and 3 p.m. March 6 in the high school auditorium. To order tickets or ask any questions, call 610-797-4107, ext. 2508 or email The play is rated PG-13.

There is a curriculum and technology meeting 7:30 p.m. Feb. 29 at Salisbury High School.

Salisbury Youth Association spring soccer sign-ups are in full swing. For students ages five through 12, go to Harry S Truman Elementary School 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18, 22 or 24. There is a lot going on at the administration building March 3. First, a Coffee and Conversation with the superintendent and assistant superintendent will be held 6 to 7 p.m. RSVP to Mary Bishop at if interested in attending. The Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church concert series continues with a performance by the Easton Area High School Chamber Singers 3 p.m. Feb. 21. This group specializes in music from the 16th century.
