‘Reading Sleuths’ at Moravian Book Shop

The mystery of who read the most books this summer has been solved at the Moravian Book Shop.

Winners of the 2016 Summer Reading Program will be announced and celebrated with “Summer Reading Sleuths Awards Ceremony,” 6 p.m. Sept. 9, Moravian Book Shop, 428 Main St., Bethlehem.

Kids’ Storytime with Jane, 10:30 a.m. Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28. Earn “Chips” for Book and Cookie Club. Kids’ Storytime is geared toward 2- to 4-year-olds and often involves crafts and other activities. Guest readers are welcome. Sign up anytime with Jane in Children’s Book Department.

“Generations” Board Game demonstration and signing: Marna Hayden, 1-4 p.m. Sept. 11, Colony Meadery.

Book-signing: Beverly Botelho, “Angel, Mine,” 1-3 p.m. Sept. 11.

Quilt and Quip Spring and Summer Sewing Circle, host Sandra Engle, 2-4 p.m. Sept. 15. First and third Thursdays, April through September. Try your hand at quilting or see how they are made. The quilts are made for babies and are donated to area foundations.

Mystery Discussion Group, host Mary Pat Beebe, 10 a.m. Sept. 16. September’s book: “Little Pretty Things,” by Lori Rader-Day.

Bethlehem Bookworms’ Discussion Group, 6 p.m. Sept. 17, September’s book: “The Language of Flowers,” by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.
