HST kindergarten students invite their families to lunch May 4

May has arrived and our schools are getting very busy with end-of-year events.

May 4 is the Harry S Truman Elementary School invitation to lunch for kindergarten students and their families. Look for information for this great experience with your kindergarten students.

May 9 is the Salisbury High School spring choral and instrumental concert. This event will begin 7 p.m. This night will also serve as senior night. The concert is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. There is no admission for this event.

May 10 is the annual SHS art show, beginning 6 p.m. HST students will have the opportunity to view the art show May 9 with their classrooms. Please ensure permission slips are returned for this event.

May 11 is the HST grade three and chorus spring concert 2 p.m. The students always look forward to this event and put on a great concert.

The annual Salisbury Middle School spring concert will be held 7 p.m. May 11.

Please remember May 12 is a 1 p.m. early dismissal for HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School students.

The Salisbury High School prom will be held 6 to 11 p.m. May 13. Enjoy your night.

A school board meeting will be held in the administration building 7:30 p.m. May 17.

May 17 is also the field day for HST students in grades kindergarten through second. Please make sure students are in appropriate clothing for the day.

Looking forward, all Salisbury Township School District schools will be closed May 25 through 29. Schools will re-open May 30.

The Franko Farm yard waste drop-off site will be open 3 to 6 p.m. May 4 as well as 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 13 and 23. The drop-off site is again taking grass clippings as of May 1.
