Enjoy dinner while helping baseball booster club

Happy Valentine’s Day! What are you doing with your sweetie?

The Salisbury High School baseball booster club is holding a restaurant fundraiser. If you eat at the Texas Roadhouse in Trexlertown between noon and 4 p.m. Feb. 25 or 4 and 10 p.m. Feb. 26, the baseball booster club can receive 10 percent of your check total. All you have to do is print out a flier and present it to your server. Contact Monica Deeb for the flier at mdeeb@salisburysd.org.

Physicals for spring sports will be held Feb. 22 at the high school. Boys report 5 p.m. and girls report 5:45 p.m. Enter the door by the old gym.

Feb. 16 is now a snow make-up day, but it will be an early dismissal. The high school and middle school will dismiss 12:15 p.m. while Harry S Truman Elementary and Western Salisbury Elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m. All schools will be closed for Presidents Day Feb. 19. There will also be an early dismissal for HST and WSE Feb 23. The elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m.

Do you have a child ready to enter kindergarten? Western Salisbury Elementary will hold its kindergarten registration 9:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 21.

WSE PTA will host its monthly restaurant night Feb. 22 at Jack’s Slice Pizza on Tilghman Street in Allentown.

The guidance office of SHS will hold its college information night 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 27. This is a great resource for those of you with students thinking about college.

There is a curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the high school.
