Faber B. Tschudy, 96, of Emmaus, died April 1, 2018. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Boettger) Tschudy. They celebrated 69 years of marriage before her death April 30, 2014. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Earl and Erma (Sattizahn) Tschudy.

He graduated from Hazleton High School and attended Houghten College for three years before joining the Army and serving his country during World War II.

He was employed by PP&L Co. for 39 years and retired as a drafting supervisor in 1983.

He loved music and sang with the Bethlehem Bach Choir for 48 years. He also sang in the Lordsman Quartet and sang solos at his church for many years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Easton.

He and his wife loved to travel and his kindness and interest in the lives of others made him a friend to many.

He is survived by daughters Lynne and her husband Kenneth Hartman, of Allentown and Dawn and her husband John Withrow Jr., of St. Johns, Fla.; son, F. Dean and his wife Kathy Sue, of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
