THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES, Allentown, is raising awareness for National Foster Care Month with the seventh annual Rock N’ Run 4 Kids 10K, 5K and Kids Fun Run to be held May 12 at Coca-Cola Park. YOUTH EDUCATION IN THE ARTS, Allentown, is looking for volunteers to help recruit young people for its program, Cadets2 (C2), a weekend-only, regionally performing drum and bugle corps. Recruitment initiatives will include phone calls, emails and direct messages on social media as outreach to potential members. Volunteers with strong communication/writing skills, a musical background and/or experience with the marching arts and availability in the late afternoon/early evening are preferred.
