Pages and Pizza at SHS June 27

Do you have a Salisbury High School student who loves to read and loves pizza?

SHS is holding Pages and Pizza 5 to 7 p.m. June 27 in the high school library. Any student entering grades nine to 12 this fall can come in and check out some books for summer reading while enjoying a slice of pizza. Books will be due back to school in September. Registration is recommended by contacting the high school librarian at rburns@salisburysd.org.

Librarian Barb Jaindl reports summer library hours will be held at Salisbury Middle School 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 20 and 27 for students in kindergarten through grade eight.

Keep in mind the final phase of renovation construction at Lindberg Park will begin at the end of June and continue through December. The old pavilion will be demolished and replaced, new playground equipment will be installed, a new restroom facility will be installed and more.

Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please keep an eye on your children and remind them the importance of staying out of the construction zones. It might be a little inconvenient at times but the end result will be worth it all. Play safe!

Baseline Impact testing for fall sports will be held 8 and 11 a.m. June 26 and June 28 at SHS. Evening sessions are scheduled 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. July 17 and 18. For any questions and a link to register, email the school trainers at jgrisi@salisburysd.org or jnunn@salisburysd.org.
