AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY LEHIGH VALLEY, needs volunteers (ages 18 to 84) to drive cancer patients to and from their treatment appointments. The volunteer must have a good driving record, current driver’s license, proof of adequate car insurance, access to a safe and reliable vehicle, schedule availability and desktop, laptop or tablet computer access. ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem is excited to celebrate its 35th anniversary of Musikfest, a volunteer-driven festival benefiting Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities. BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF ALLENTOWN has youth opportunities for volunteers age 14 and over to assist program staff with the delivery of summer programs and activities – educational, arts, sports, recreation, lunches and snacks, etc. during the nine week summer program now through Aug. 17. Opportunities are available every weekday at various locations in Allentown. Volunteers can choose a week, day or days which fit their schedule. EASTERN PA DOWN SYNDROME CENTER, Trexlertown, is supporting the “I Can Shine Bike Camp” at Easton High School July 16 to 20. Volunteers are needed to be “spotters” for individuals with various disabilities as they learn how to ride a conventional two wheel bike. FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem, needs volunteers to help with Box Brigade Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings to help pack food and hygiene boxes for children and families in need. Help is needed 9 a.m. to noon July 14, 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9, 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 8, 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 11, 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 10 and 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 13.
