New York singer at Holy Spirit
Jon Satrom presents a concert at 4 p.m. May 11, The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Emmaus.
He has appeared in shows at the Jenny Wiley Theatre, The Millbrook Playhouse, Pines Dinner Theatre and The Gallery Players.
Satrom was in the first national tour of “A Year With Frog and Toad.” He has managed the Broadway national tours of “Mamma Mia!” and “Rent.”
He has sung at the legendary New York City venues Don’t Tell Mama and Brandy’s Piano Bar. Satrom was nominated for The Manhattan Association of Cabarets’ award for Piano Bar Singing Entertainer four times, including 2019.
Satrom appears regularly as a backup singer for many artists and appeared with Anne Steele as part of “Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays” at the Beacon Theatre, New York City.
Satrom, a graduate of Emmaus High School, received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University.
The concert is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken.
