A. Hazel May, 89, of Luther Crest Retirement Community, South Whitehall Township, formerly of Harris York, Macungie, died February 19, 2013, in the Health Center at Luther Crest. She was the wife of Walter May. They would have been married for 40 years in April. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Donald R. and Marian Hazel (Sterner) Richards.
She was the executive secretary to the chairman, president and CEO of Mack Trucks, Allentown for many years, retiring in 1973.
In 1956 she was awarded the title of "Mrs. Allentown."
John F. Grim, 72, of Lower Macungie Township, died February 15, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Chiyo T. (Tsukiyama) Grim. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this past May. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Francis E. and Catherine R. (Murtaugh) Grim Sr.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

The SYA wrestling team traveled to Quakertown on Sunday, February 17 for the East Penn Youth Wrestling League Varsity tournament.
Salisbury had four wrestlers place during the event: Kyle Lash (eighth place, 45 pounds), Carver Moyer (eighth place, 57 pounds), Timmy Buda (fourth place, 100 pounds) and Toby Linn (third place, 48 pounds). Many of the SYA grapplers will continue on through open tournament season and are expected to be a force at the Mustang Open on February 23 and the Jim Thorpe Grappling in the Gorge Event on March 3.
The SYA wrestling team hosted the East Penn Youth Wrestling League Exhibition/JV end of the season tournament on Sunday, February 10.
Over 500 youth wrestlers converged on Salisbury High School to cap off the end of the wrestling season.
Salisbury had several wrestlers place during the event including: exhibition wrestler Ashton Thomas (fifth place, 85 pounds) and JV wrestlers Conner Miller (fifth place, 42 pounds), Anthony Scarcia (fifth place, 100 pounds), and Dallas Rothrock (second place, 48 pounds).

Althea O. Wetzel Burns, 84, of Whitehall, and formerly of Emmaus, died February 13, 2013, at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Burns Jr. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel M. (Miller) Rhode.
She was a retired beautician in Emmaus.
She is survived by a grandson, Jamie N. Wetzel and his wife, Heather; great-grandson, Jamie N. Wetzel Jr. She was predeceased by a son, Glenn Wetzel; grandson, Jason Wetzel.
