Harry S Truman Elementary School welcomes parents
A variety of area residences will be featured in The Swain School's 43rd annual Holiday House Tour Dec. 4 and 5.
Participants can enjoy the tour via a bus or luxury coach, or a self-guided, 'drive it yourself' option. The Holiday House Tour also includes the Swain Holiday Boutique as well as a pick-a-prize raffe, children's raffle and bake sale.
The "Snowflake Express" is a nighttime supper and bus tour Dec. 4. The serving of a light supper begins 4:30 p.m. at the Allentown school, 1100 S. 24th St., Allentown, and the buses depart 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. There is a cost.

Harry S Truman Elementary School holds annual veterans program
The 34th annual Live Christmas Pageant will be held at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 8 and 9 at the Eighth Avenue Rose Garden Band Shell between Union Boulevard and W. Broad Street, Bethlehem.
The LBCP committee is seeking seven major and other sponsors to cover costs. They are also looking for new committee members as well as two baby boys age three to six months and walk-in volunteers of all ages for various roles such as shepherds, angels, townspeople and behind the scenes support.
Theft from vehicle
Police were called to the 400 block of Yeker Farm Lane 3:11 a.m. Nov. 17 for the report of a theft from the 2005 Honda Pilot. The passenger side window had been broken and a DVD player was removed with a value of $80.
Security at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest noted an activated car alarm 3:37 a.m. Nov. 11 and found a passenger front window smashed. Further investigation determined a Garmin GPS and power cord were removed from the vehicle.

Lehigh Valley Chapter of SCORE will offer the second in a series of free informal "roundtable" discussions on topics of interest to small business owners or those considering, or in the process of starting a business on Nov. 29.
The November round- table will be held in the meeting room at Dunkin' Donuts, 3670 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, and will start promptly at 8 a.m. and end at 9:30 a.m.
The subject matter expert will be Attorney John D. Lychak.
Round table discussions will be facilitated by a SCORE member.
Karen I. Dacey, MD, a comprehensive ophthalmologist, has joined McDonald Ophthalmology and Associates, Bethlehem.
She was a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Andrews Air Force Base, home of Air Force One, prior to joining McDonald.
She was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and supported an Air Force humanitarian mission to Panama.
