The Salisbury Falcon Football Classic will tee off 1:30 p.m. July 16 at Wedgewood Golf Course, Coopersburg.
This annual fundraiser benefits the athletes in a variety of ways to help advance the Salisbury football program.

The 2016 Salisbury Township playground program is up and running for the summer. The dates are weekdays 9 a.m. to noon and Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 20 to July 29.
There will be programs at Green Acres, Lindberg, Devonshire and Laubach parks. The program is open for township students entering first grade through age 12 and registration forms are available at each park.
As I dropped my son off for his last day of high school today, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic and emotional (yes, I am tearing up as I write this).
The baccalaureate service June 2 at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown was so beautiful. There were seniors singing, reading scripture and at the end, they all stood, introduced themselves and announced their plans for the future.

Time flies. I still remember him being so excited to get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten. And now he is even more excited to see those 13 years at Salisbury Township School District come to an end.
Testing, testing, testing. The PSSAs are over and now we have the Keystone exams.
I’ll start with the middle school information. Those students in the eighth grade algebra 1 class will take the algebra 1 Keystone exam May 18 and 19 during the regular school day.
I have some exciting news! The Salisbury High School marching band has been invited to perform at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla. Jan. 2, 2017. Would you like to support the Salisbury Music Association and help send our band to the Outback Bowl? Do you like to play bingo?
The first concert for the kindergarten through second grade classes at Western Salisbury Elementary School will be 2 p.m. April 20 in the school gym.
Salisbury High School and middle school will have an early dismissal 12:15 p.m. April 15.
The Salisbury Township Recreation Advisory Committee is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for township children aged three to 10. The hunt will begin promptly 10 a.m. March 19 at Lindberg Park. A registration form can be found on the Salisbury Township website and must be filled out and returned to the township building by March 16 in order for your child to participate.
Western Salisbury Elementary PTA will host its third annual purse bingo. Handbags from Coach, Kate Spade, Thirty-One, Vera Bradley and more will be given as prizes. This event will be held 1 to 4 p.m. March 13 at Salisbury Middle School with the doors opening noon. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. It is kindergarten registration time! Western Salisbury Elementary School will hold registration for incoming kindergarteners 9:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 24. Students must be five years old by Aug. 31. More information can be found on the school website and any questions can be answered by calling the school office at 610-797-1688.
Spring athletic physicals will be held in the health room of Salisbury Middle School Feb. 25. Boys will be 5 p.m. and girls 5:45 p.m. Paperwork is now available at both the high school and middle school.
