Lebanon Valley College

Justin Weilnau, of Allentown, was selected as a peer mentor at Lebanon Valley College. A peer mentor is an undergraduate student that guides a group of 15 to 20 new or transfer students during their first semester at the college. Weilnau is a senior music and biochemistry and molecular biology major and graduate of Salisbury Township High School.

Alvernia University

Benjamin Roda, of Allentown, was granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study criminal justice at Alvernia University. Roda is a senior at Emmaus High School.

Rachel Sechrist, of Allentown, was granted the Veronica Founder's Scholarship to study criminal justice at Alvernia University. Sechrist is a senior at Salisbury High School.

Police watch for speeders and impaired drivers in roving patrol

"Don't think you can get away with driving Salisbury Township's roadways without obeying speed limits, or driving while impaired. You aren't going to endanger our citizens without paying a price."

That's the message being sent by a Salisbury Police Department roving enforcement patrol the evening of March 15.
