Salisbury High School's spring musical, "Romeo & Juliet: a musical tragedy" will be presented 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and 16 and 2 p.m. Feb. 17 in the SHS auditorium. There is no Friday show. First honor society at Penn State LV

Penn State Lehigh Valley celebrated the installation of the Alpha Zeta Pi chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, international honor society in education, during a ceremony at Iron Lakes Country Club, 3625 Shankweiler Road, North Whitehall Township.

It's the first education honor society to be established at the campus and only the third Kappa Delta Pi chapter in The Pennsylvania State University system.

Seventh Grader Jacob Zettlemoyer is named the new school spelling bee champion at Salisbury Middle School Jan. 18. Zettlemoyer and other middle school students competed in the 27th Annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. He will also compete at Northampton Community College (the final local spelling bee) in the written preliminary round Feb. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Male of Moore Township announce the engagement of their daughter, Becky, to Wasyl Mauser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wasyl Mauser of Allen Township.
