The Lindberg Park committee met with Urban Research and Development Corp. consultants to give their final approval on the Lindberg Park Master Plan Jan. 21.

The 10-phase Lindberg plan is projected to cost from $1 million to $2 million and could take 10 to 20 years to complete.

Phase One, construction of the approximate 3/4-mile perimeter, eight-foot wide bikeway and walking path, is to cost $300,000.

WDIY, Lehigh Valley's community public radio station is holding its annual fundraising party, this year themed "Winter Blast," 7 - 11 p.m. Feb. 2, Rodale Community Room, Miller Symphony Hall, Allentown.

The Lehigh County Board of Commissioners finally approved the Green Future Fund at its Jan. 23 meeting, after tabling it on three previous occasions.
