When the phrase "fast food" is mentioned what comes to mind? Usually big name companies like McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc. But have the school lunches the children these days are eating ever get mentioned on the list that so many people have in their minds? The Children's Dyslexia Center of Allentown is having a book fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20, at Barnes and Noble at The Promenade Shops, Center Valley.

Of the four seasons, spring is my favorite with everything beginning to awaken and renew after a long winter.

A new home fire safety education tool was recently jointly acquired by the Eastern Salisbury and Western Salisbury fire departments.

The trailer is a 2013 Mobile Concepts by Scotty Fire Safety House. The manufacturer, near Greensburg in western Pennsylvania, builds specialty trailers for multiple purposes associated with first responder and law enforcement agencies.

With the intention of more frequent reports by the Valley Mountain Bikers to the Salisbury Board of Commissioners comes the announcement of "Steel City Enduro," a mountain bike race, July 14 in Walking Purchase Park.

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts is dancing its way down Easton Avenue toward the Southside.
