William H. Bogert, Sr., 90, of Coopersburg, died Jan. 9, 2014, surrounded by his family at the Hospice House of VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Mae E. (Kemp) Bogert. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Albert and Stella (Bittenbender) Bogert.
He was an active member of Chestnut Hill United Church of Christ where he volunteered his time in various positions in the church and Sunday school.
He was a Naval Veteran, giving 33 years of total combined service in active and reserve duty, spanning World War II and the Korean War.
Joseph D. McMillan, 84, of Salisbury Township died Dec. 20, 2013, while a resident of Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of Lois Alder Dalrymple McMillan. Born in Chicago, Ill., he was a son of the late John L. and Jean (Currer) McMillan.
He was a graduate of Calumet High School, class of 1947.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1946 and served in Japan, Guam and Iwo Jima.
Roberta "Bobbie" Davis (Fullin), 75, of Coopersburg, formerly of 7318 Sauerkraut Lane, Macungie, died Dec. 19, 2013. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Martha Fullin.
She was a longtime employee of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Trexlertown.
She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
She was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church of Breinigsville.
AnnaMae (Schafer) Wieder, 92, of Macungie, died at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Jan. 6, 2014. She was a resident of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Willard D. "Lefty" Wieder. Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late William H. Schafer and Sophia (Krantz) Schafer.
Lottie Spangler, 88, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 8, 2014, in her home. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Spangler. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Maria (Gascher) Mueller.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Allentown and was employed at Pet, Inc., Allentown, for 25 years until retiring.
She is survived by nieces Diane, Eloise, Roberta and Gail; dear friends and neighbors.

Donald W. Haydt, 66, of Macungie and Allentown, died Jan. 11, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly G. (Ahrens) Haydt. They were married for 39 years in August. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Willard H. and Miriam M. (Derr) Haydt.
He owned and operated Haydt's Trucking and Garage in Longswamp Township for 40 years and was affiliated with Lowe and Moyer Garage, Fogelsville, for the past four years. He truly loved his work.
He held memberships in Macungie and Kutztown fire companies.
Leonard W. Saeger, 74, of Allentown, died Dec. 22, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Linda C. (Morris) Saeger. Born in Cetronia, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Scheirer) Saeger.
He was a self-employed contractor, retiring in 2003.
Dorothy E. Nersesian, 91, of Macungie, died Jan. 1, 2014, at Lehigh Center, Macungie.
She is survived by a sister, Lorraine Rabbito, of Freeport, N.Y. and a niece, Mary Xydias.
Services are private. Entombment in Farmingdale, N.Y. Arrangements were made by the Keller Funeral Homes Inc., Fogelsville.
Alberto DeOliveira, 88, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 27, 2013, in his home. Born in Portugal, he was a son of the late Manuel and Visitacao.
He is survived by a son, Victor and his wife Michelle; granddaughters, Kailey and Emily.

Emily M. Leonhartsberger, 87, of Allentown, died Dec. 26, 2013, in DevonHouse. She was the wife of the late Frank Leonhartsberger. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Deutsch) Antler.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus.
She is survived by sons, Frank D., of Ponce Inlet, Fla. and Alan J., of Kempton; sister, Margaret Fegley, of Zionsville; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
