Dr. Geoffrey K. Sherman, 51, of Lower Mac-ungie Township, died suddenly. He was the husband of Gretchen K. (Rojas) Sherman. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Patricia (Egan) Sherman, of Allentown, and the late Dr. Robert J. Sherman.
Barbara A. White, 63, of Bethlehem, died August 28, 2012, in St. Luke's Hospital-Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Richard J. White. They were married for 46 years in July. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John F. Sr. and Mary (McQuay) Mackaravitz.
She was a production wirer for Eaton-Cutler Hammer for 20 years.
She enjoyed the company of her family and friends, camping in the mountains and listening to oldies music.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Barbara Jean Kline Woomer died August 27, 2012, in Wilmington, N.C. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Woomer. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Carrie (Kratzer) Kline. She lived in the Lehigh Valley area for 53 years and in Lillian, Ala. for 20 years. She had been a resident of Wilmington, N.C. for the past six years.
Cynthia F. Zuber, 57, of Macun-gie, died August 30, 2012, in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown with her family by her side. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Esther J. (Schnecker) Hawk.
She was former president of Hawk Flower Mills in Allentown and taught elementary school in the Allentown School District.
She received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Kutztown University.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Richard J. Buchin, 59, of Allentown, died August 28, 2012. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Harry Buchin and the late Rachel (Gehman) Buchin.
He was a graduate of Emmaus High School and had a political science degree from Kutztown University and a master of divinity degree from the Eastern Baptist Seminary.
He was a resident of the Good Shepherd Home for a number of years.
He was a partner in his father's hardware business for a period of time in addition he was a former tax collector in Macungie.
Hosea Atwater, 68, of Wescosville, died August 16, 2012. He was the son of the late Deroy Sr. and Eva Nell Atwater of Jackson, Tenn.
He attended the public schools of Madison County and was a graduate of East High School.
He served in the U.S. Army and did two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He was employed at Mack Truck as a security guard.
Helga Linsenmann-Yundt, 71, of Macungie, died August 26, 2012, at home. She was the wife of George E. Yundt IV for 33 years this past January. Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Fritz and Lotte (Dumm) Linsenmann.
She was a secretary for the George E. Yundt IV, Architectural Firm in Allentown from 1965 to 1976.
She is survived by her husband; stepdaughter, Laure Yundt-Rothenberg and husband Marc of Westhampton Beach, N.Y.; stepson, George E. V and his wife Elizabeth of Durham, N.C.; brothers, Wolfgang and Peter Linsenmann; sister, Doris Linsenmann.
George John, 91, of Macungie, died peacefully September 2, 2012. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Haddad) John. Born in New Salem, he was the son of the late Abraham and Elizabeth (Monsour) John.
He received a degree in metallurgical engineering from Lehigh University after which he worked at Textile Machine Works in Wyomissing, and then was vice president of Emmaus Foundry and Machine Works until he retired.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was an active member of the former Faith United Church of Christ and served on the consistory for many years.
Marian M. (Fetterman) Hildenbrand, 92, formerly of Zionsville, died August 28, 2012. She was the wife of the late Pierson Hildenbrand.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna Mae Finn of Virginia; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Robert P. Kuhns, 77, of Macungie, died Sept. 2, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Janice (Jacobs) Kuhns. They were married for 53 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mabel (Race) Kuhns and formerly lived in Philadelphia and Holland.
He was employed by Bell Telephone Co. of Pa. for 37 years before retiring.
