Stanley James Moyer, 83, of Whitehall, died July 17, 2019, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Stanley W. and Miriam (Moyer) Beidelman, of Whitehall.
He was a graduate of Whitehall High School.
Frances A. Lichtenwalner, 85, of Macungie, died July 17, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clarence D. Lichtenwalner. Born in Thomasburg, Northampton County, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Edna (Andrews) Rohrbach.
Before retiring, she worked at Macungie Bank and Dorney Printing.
She was a former Lehigh County Commissioner and Recorder of Deeds.
She was an active member of Solomon’s UCC, Macungie and was a former church council president and church elder.
Bonnie J. Goyzueta, M.A., Psy.D, 75, of Macungie, died July 17, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Luis F. Goyzueta Sr. Born in Corning, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Marianne (Oliver) Woodworth.
She was an academic alumna of Corning Community College; Allentown College; Kutztown University and received her doctorate in psychology from Rochelle University in 2008. She was employed as a bilingual teacher while living in Lima, Peru from 1968 to 1979.
Craig Andrews, 68, of Alburtis, died suddenly during the early morning July 7, 2019, two days after celebrating his 68th birthday with his wife of 44 years, Faith Caroline (Stoneback) Andrews. Hours before he was stricken in his Alburtis home, he spent the last Saturday morning of his life in a fashion typical to Craig – walking his dogs and lending a hand to family members as they packed up for their annual beach vacation.
Kathleen R. Lambert, 77, of Center Valley, formerly of Allentown, died peacefully July 8, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, surrounded by family. She was the wife of the late Donald Lambert. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Helen (Toczek) Lomonski.
She was employed as a ticket agent for American Airlines for 41 years, retiring in 2016 and for Western Electric in her early career.
She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
Edward G. Graybill III, 71, of Macungie, died June 10, 2019, at Manor Care, Bethlehem. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Kathryn (Pysher) and Edward George Graybill Jr.
In the past, he was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He was a graduate of Lehigh University and was a member of Alpha Lambda Omega. Prior to retiring he was an IT programming technician at Pfizer Co.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member and past officer of the Rittersville Fire Company.
Mary E. Beishline, 94, formerly of Zionsville, died July 22, 2019, at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Clayton Beishline, who died Dec. 12, 1985. Born in Shimersville, she was the daughter of the late Chester Fenstermaker and Ella (Krammes) Buss.
She worked for Knoll International in East Greenville for several years until her retirement. Previously, she was a florist and arranger at Buss Greenhouse.
She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.
E. Richard Gordon, 86, of Allentown, died July 16, 2019, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy S. (Salvino) Gordon. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Abraham and Henrietta (Sokol) Gordon.
After attending Central High School, Philadelphia, he graduated from Gratz College, Melrose Park, in 1953. He furthered his education at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania graduating in 1956.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and served in the reserves.
Robert E. Rhoads Sr., 87, of Macungie, died July 20, 2019, in Legend Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Lorraine T. (Miller) Rhoads. Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the late Walter and Clara (Mauger) Rhoads.
He worked for Air Products and Chemicals for over 40 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.
He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
John B. Mesics Sr., 71, of Macungie, died July 12, 2019. He was the husband of Shelley (Strauch) Mesics. They were married for 47 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late James and Patricia (Marsh) Mesics.
After graduating high school, he went to work for Mack Trucks where he retired after 44 years and had served in the past as a union steward.
