Harassment

Sabwa Sula, 41, of Freemansburg, was issued a summary citation for harassment following an alleged incident at a home in the 700 block of Mortimer Street 1 p.m. May 17. Sula allegedly pushed and hit the victim in the face.

Brenden Arnold, 30, of Allentown, was issued a summary citation 11:08 p.m. May 18 following an alleged incident at a home in the 1400 block of Stanley Avenue.

Sabwa Sula, 41, of Freemansburg, was charged with alleged terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment following an incident at a home in the 700 block of Mortimer Street 1:50 p.m. May 18.

Theft

A resident in the 1200 block of East Susquehanna street reported the theft of a license plate 2:30 a.m. May 12.

A resident in the 1100 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard reported the theft of a black men’s mountain bike 10:36 a.m. May 15.

A resident in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue reported 1:50 p.m. May 18, the theft of jewelry valued at $480 following a fire at the home.

A resident in the 700 block of Mortimer Street reported the theft of medicine 2 p.m. May 18.

Recovered stolen vehicle

Salisbury police stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of Broadway 8:37 a.m. May 1 after the mobile plate reader said the plate was stolen from Bethlehem Township. It was also determined the vehicle was stolen from the city of Bethlehem. Police turned the driver over to the Auto Theft Task Force.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 1:25 p.m. May 4 in the 2800 block of Meadowbrook Circle.

Police responded to a fire alarm 11:02 p.m. May 4 at Lehigh Valley Diagnostic Imaging.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 8:52 a.m. May 4 in the 600 block of Ash Street.

Allentown man faces charges in 10 robberies

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced May 10 an Allentown man has been charged in relation to 10 robberies, including one in Emmaus, which occurred between Nov. 26, 2016 and May 1.

Cane Singleton, 23, of 662 Sherman St., Allentown, is charged with 10 counts each of robbery and conspiracy, both felonies of the first degree. Singleton currently is incarcerated in Lehigh County Jail on unrelated charges. He was to be arraigned through Central Booking.

It is alleged Singleton acted as the “getaway driver” in the following robberies:

Burglary

A neighbor called police 2:11 p.m. April 26 to report two black men outside of a home in the 1800 block of East Susquehanna Street. The men were looking at a motorcycle. When police arrive, they determined the front door had been forcibly opened. No one was in the house at the time. The homeowner will provide police with a list of missing items.

Police were called to the 1700 block of South Albert Street for the report of eight shots fired 9:47 p.m. April 28. Police were unable to locate anyone shooting.

Disturbance

Police were called to a doctor’s office in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard 11:15 a.m. April 20 for the report of a patient throwing a clipboard at a victim.

Tanisha Benitez, 23, of Bethlehem, was given a summary citation for alleged disorderly conduct following a traffic stop 4:50 p.m. April 20 in the 800 block of East Emmaus Avenue.

Taylor Schappell, 24, of Allentown, was given a summary citation following an alleged incident at Franko Farm Park, 1301 Black River Road 10:12 p.m. April 22.
