Disturbance

Police were called to a disturbance at Affinity Truck and Auto Sales, 3101 Lehigh St., Allentown 1:25 p.m. March 17. The disturbance involved financing of a vehicle.

Police were called to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Commix Hotel, 3245 W. Emaus Ave., 2:39 a.m. March 18 between two family members.

Peter Moyer, 58, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence 8:18 p.m. March 17 following a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Lindberg Avenue. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Driving under the influence

Zachery Kressler, 22, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash in the 1400 block of Tweed Avenue 7:53 p.m. March 9. Kressler was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Dana Register, 49, of Phillipsburg, N.J., was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash of a vehicle into a ditch in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard 9:40 p.m. March. 10. Register was taken to Central Booking for processing.

DUI

Tyrone Davis Jr., 22, of New Rochelle, N.Y., was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop by state police at 3000 S. Pike Ave., Salisbury Township, 9:17 p.m. Feb. 25. According to police, two young children were passengers in the rear of the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Burglary

Officers from the Salisbury Township Police Department were dispatched to the 3200 block of Douglas Road in Salisbury Township in response to a burglary in progress 4:02 a.m. March 8. A witness reports two males were observed running up and down Douglas Road trying to enter vehicles parked in the area. A nearby residence garage door was then opened and the two males were seen going inside the garage and removing items. The items were then placed inside the bed of a white Dodge pickup truck. The witness confronted one of the juveniles and detained him as the police arrived.

Retail theft

Richard Wehr, 39, of Perkasie, was charged with retail theft 4:29 p.m. Feb. 25 following an incident at BonTon, 3300 Lehigh St. Wehr allegedly removed Under Armour clothing valued at $240. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Barry Kunkle, 49, of Bath, was given two citations for retail theft following two incidents at South Mall Mercantile, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 1 p.m. Feb. 21. Kunkle allegedly switched a price tag on an item and purchased it for the lesser price and removed two DVDs without paying for them.

Criminal mischief

A resident in the 1000 block of Dodson Street reported damage to a flood light on the property 1:52 p.m. Feb. 16.

A resident in the 2800 block of Andrea Drive reported a vehicle on the property was egged 3 p.m. Feb. 16 damaging paint on the vehicle.

A resident in the 1700 block of 33rd Street reported 5:55 p.m. Feb. 16 an unknown person used a Cabela’s credit card to make $572.83 of purchases shipped to Portland, Ore.

A resident in the 2900 block of Greenbriar Lane reported 6:05 p.m. Feb. 20, an unknown person made $8,268 of purchases at a store in King of Prussia.

Fraud

A resident in the 800 block of East Lexington Street reported 1:44 p.m. Feb. 10, an unknown person used the resident’s debit card at Walmart for $204 and at Giant for $3.19. The bank contacted the victim.

A resident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street reported 2:40 p.m. Feb. 11 receiving multiple calls from an attorney saying there was a formal complaint against them. The resident called the number back which had been disconnected.
